Tuesday, June 9th:  Field trip to the public library and the Richcraft splashpad and park.

Week of June 22nd:  We will Celebrate our students with summer birthdays.

Wednesday, June 24th:  Report cards go home.

We look forward to a great month!!

Book Fair details (and some other info too)!

Yesterday, your child had a chance to preview the Book Fair. With an adult's help, they looked through the books, and came home with a "wish list". Please note that you are not under any obligation to purchase anything - if you would like them to purchase any items off of their wish list, we will be able to purchase tomorrow (Thursday). Please send in the money along with a note listing the items your child wishes to purchase.

**Please note: This year, due to circumstances beyond the school's control, we did NOT receive a debit machine for purchases at the Book Fair. Unfortunately, parents will not be able to purchase items using debit (our apologies). The Book Fair is still able to accept cash, cheque, and credit cards. It will also be open on Friday morning during our Muffin Breakfast if you would like to browse during that time.

Some upcoming reminders for this week:

  • Tomorrow (Thursday) students are invited to dress as their favourite book character or math symbol.
  • Friday will be Red and White Day

As we move into the warmer weather, students might be tempted to wear sandals, flip flops, and/or crocs to school. Please remind them that for safety reasons, we cannot permit them to play on the play structure with any footwear other than running shoes.

Sunscreen - please apply to your child before school. Teachers cannot apply sunscreen to students at school.
